Randal K. McQueen, a devoted man of the Lord and loving husband, father and papaw passed away peacefully on May 29, 2024, at the age of 66. Born on July 16, 1957, Randy lived a life full of love, faith, and diverse interests.

Randy is survived by his beloved wife, Diana McQueen, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories and adventures. His faith was the cornerstone of his life, and he attended Mount Vernon Baptist Temple in Howard, Ohio. Randy’s devotion to God and his church was evident in all aspects of his life.

A man of many talents, Randy was a true “jack of all trades.” He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including riding his motorcycle, playing the harmonica, and sharing his love for bluegrass gospel music with his friends. Randy was also a dedicated fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and took great delight in attending the Mopar Nationals with his 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner, where he connected with fellow car enthusiasts.

Randy’s family and friends will always remember his generous spirit, warm smile, and the melody of his harmonica. His legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him.

Randy is survived by his wife Diana McQueen; Sons Matthew (Sarah) McQueen, Joshua (Jessica) McQueen; Grandchildren Jaedyn McQueen, Callie McQueen, Jace McQueen, Colin McQueen; Brothers Kevin (Sharon) McQueen; Sister Marcia McQueen.

He was preceded in death by his parents David and Francis McQueen.

A service to celebrate Randy’s life will be held at the Mount Vernon Baptist Temple, located at 21453 Floralwood Dr, Howard, OH 43028, on Saturday, June 1st. Calling hours will be from 10:00 to 11:30 AM, followed by a service at 11:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Mount Vernon Baptist Temple or Hospice of North Central Ohio in Randy’s memory.

Randy K. McQueen will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved him.
