Alice J. Lester, age 79, of Fredericktown, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at her residence. She was born on January 20, 1945, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Albert and Helen Wolf.
Alice attended Mount Vernon High School. She worked for the DANA Corporation in Fredericktown for many years. Alice loved going to the Fredericktown Tomato Show, drawing and horseback riding. She was a member of the Christ the King Community Church in Fredericktown. She loved her pets, especially her dogs.
Alice is survived by her children, Douglas (Ginger) Lester, Roxanne Wolford; grandchildren, Brandy Parker, Jessica Lester, Jenna (Matthew) Boudinot, Justine Lester; great-grandchildren, Clinton, Cirk, Cash, Cassie, Gracie, Haley, Kinsley, Addison, Billy and Preston.
Along with her parents, Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd “Pat” Lester.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, from 10-11 am with a funeral service starting at 11 am at Christ The King Community Church; 15598 McClelland Rd, Fredericktown, OH 43019 with Rev. Dr. Lucian Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
