MOUNT VERNON — A Knox County grand jury handed down eight indictments in its Monday, May 6 session.

  • Aaron Anders, of Zanesville, attempted burglary, third-degree felony; criminal damaging, second-degree misdemeanor.
  • Dylan Kipp, of Mount Vernon, aggravated possession of drugs, fifth-degree felony; possessing drug abuse instruments, second-degree misdemeanor.
  • David Loney, of Mount Vernon, trespass in a habitation when a person is present, fourth-degree felony.
  • Eric Lawson, of Mount Vernon, two counts of assault on a peace officer, both fourth-degree felonies; domestic violence, first-degree misdemeanor; resisting arrest, second-degree misdemeanor; public indecency; fourth-degree misdemeanor.
  • Asa Cormier, of Mount Vernon, assault on a peace officer, fourth-degree felony; resisting arrest, second-degree misdemeanor.
  • Jeremiah Oneil, of Mount Vernon, aggravated possession of drugs, fifth-degree felony.
  • Patrick Underwood, of Mount Vernon, aggravated possession of drugs, fifth-degree felony.
  • Walter Wood, of Newark, having weapons while under disability, third-degree felony; forfeiture specification as to count one, a felony.
