MOUNT VERNON — One male motorist was killed in a semi, motorcycle accident at the Columbus Road/ South Main Street intersection, according to the Mount Vernon Police Department.
The fatal accident was called into 911 at 4:36 p.m. on Thursday, Mount Vernon Police Chief Robert Morgan said.
Morgan added that the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
Columbus Road was still shut down at 5 p.m.
Morgan said more information would be released tomorrow morning.
