Deborah Mae Phillips, age 67, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed peacefully on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at the Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on April 10, 1957, in Chesapeake, West Virginia to the late William and Ilene (Harper) Miller.
Debbie graduated from Mount Vernon High School, and attended Cosmetology School in Newark, Ohio. She worked for Interim Health Care and Mount Vernon City Lanes. Debbie started Teen Tops in Mount Vernon. She enjoyed Elvis Presley, crafts, and party planning, most of all she loved being around her grandchildren.
Debbie is survived by her husband, David Phillips; sons, Dana (Dayna) Phillips, James (Christina) Phillips; 2 grandchildren, Gracie and Trinity; a sister, Louise Rivero; a brother, Rober Miller; several nieces and nephews; and canine companion, Maverick.
Along with her parents, Debbie is preceded in death by a son; Robert Eugene; a brother, Danny Miller; sisters, Jeannie Ciggans, and Connie Tarbox.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may go to the family.
