LOUDONVILLE: Jamie Suzette Lifer passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, in her home at the age of 62.
She was born on August 22, 1961, to parents Gene & Rosemary (Messner) Lifer in Loudonville, Ohio. Jamie graduated from Loudonville High School with the class of 1979 and obtained her bachelor’s degree from Ashland University.
Jamie retired after working 12 years at Kroger as a manager. She began working at the location in Marion and went on to the Park Avenue and Ashland Road locations in Mansfield and Mount Vernon. Jamie was a wonderful manager and fellow employee because of her eagerness to listen and always find a way to help in any situation.
She is survived by her cousin Kevin Hans, and her aunts Vera “Lee” Lifer-Burkhart and Diane Margaret Lifer-Horn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents Charles & Rosella Messner and Bryce & Vera Lifer; and her uncle and aunt Calvin & Linda Hans.
A graveside service will occur on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 11 a.m. in Greenlawn Cemetery- Perrysville with Pastor John Temple officiating.
