Marilyn Frazier Burt went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 18, 2024.

Marilyn was born July 6,1932 and was raised in Fredericktown and Waterford, Ohio. She graduated from Fredericktown high school in 1950 and was a member of the high school marching band. She attended one year of college at Northwestern Bible College in Minneapolis, MN.

In 1951 she married Marvin Burt and was a military wife in the U.S. Air Force for 28 years. They lived in 6 different states and Moracco, Africa. She was a Red Cross volunteer in military hospitals. Marilyn was active in her church as the pianist and organist, sang in several musical groups, taught Sunday school and vacation Bible school. She was also involved in missions and had a heart for spreading the gospel. She was an avid student of God’s Word and a faithful prayer warrior. She was well loved by all her knew her.

She is survived by her four children: Matthew (Regine) Burt of Savannah, GA, Michael (Jeannie) Burt of Gahanna, OH, Marissa (Robert) Daley of Mount Vernon, OH and Michelle Updegraff of Mount Vernon, OH, 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, sisters Rowena Gramling of Liberty Center, OH and Oneta (Don) Proudfoot of Swanton, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Hoy and Sevilla Frazier, her husband Marvin Burt and grandson Benjamin Burt.

There will be no funeral services per Marilyn’s request.
