Glenn Bricker passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and devotion. Born on January 24,1932 in Millwood, Ohio, Glenn’s life journey was passion for family, nature, reading and sharing the Bible’s message with others.
Glenn was a member of the Mount Vernon Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He enjoyed fellowship with his spiritual brothers and sisters locally as well as in Florida when he wintered there.
Glenn loved the beauty of nature, nurturing his plants and gardens with a green thumb, enjoying animals, flora and fauna of the outdoors. He was often found sitting on his plant-filled back porch having chats with friends and family with offered refreshments.
Glenn appreciated the company of his beloved family. He reflected on moments spent with his family, finding happiness in the laughter, love, and shared memories.
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (William) Doane; son Korby (Jennifer) Bricker; grandchildren, (“the grands”) Will (Amanda) Doane, Liz (Doug) Mezie, Jessica Jeffery, and Rachel (Myke) Taylor, Alexandra Bricker (Vernon Pikaart) and Emily Bricker; 12 great- grandchildren, (“the greats”) and a sister, Leona Blubaugh.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Devilla (Devore) Bricker, loving wife, Thelma (Zwilling) Bricker, siblings Persia Rhodes, Perry Bricker, and Max Bricker, and a granddaughter, Meridith Rowland.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024 @ 2:30 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 189 Mansfield Road, Mount Vernon, Ohio, with Brother Steven Andrews officiating.
