MOUNT VERNON– The Knox County Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) revealed its new 2024-2025 Visitor Guide Magazine to tourism partners and community leaders at its biannual Launch & Learn partner event.
“This new edition provides a comprehensive overview of Knox County, Ohio, with brand new itineraries for any traveler or curious explorer,” says Executive Director Carol Grubaugh. “We produce this guide every two years, and this year we focused on each of our communities to highlight more local storytelling, unique experiences, our vibrant arts community, expansive green spaces, and local history.”
The Knox County Convention and Visitors Bureau partnered with Melinda Huntley, the executive director of the Ohio Travel Association, to provide a “state of tourism” presentation at its Launch & Learn at the Knox Memorial.
“Communities like Knox County are special to state tourism, that charm and hospitality is evident here,” said Huntley. “The Knox CVB plays a vital role in bringing folks to the community, inviting them in, welcoming them and inspiring them to explore more.
“If someone is thinking of relocating, starting a new business, or attending a higher education institute, it all starts with a visit.”
In collaboration with local tourism partners, Marketing Manager Olivia Toth highlighted some of Knox’s unique and special things.
“My favorite part of this magazine is the authentic storytelling we get to share,” said Toth. Every photo you see in this guide is someone who lives here and understands the value of the experiences we have to offer.”
50,000 Knox County Visitor Guide Magazines will be distributed state-wide at Ohio Travel Information Centers, tourist attractions, travel shows, and beyond. To request your guide(s), email info@visitknoxohio.org.
