Jay E. Moran, age 76, of Mount Vernon passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024, at the Laurels of Mount Vernon.
He was born on December 21, 1947, in Mount Vernon to the late Harold and Ada Moran. Jay was a member of the Four Square Gospel Church. He enjoyed reading his Bible, listening to Christian Music and puzzle books. But most of all, Jay loved the time he spent with his family.
He is survived by his wife Patsy Moran; his sons, Timothy (Shaela) Moran, Jay (Ciera) Moran, Ray Tolly; his grandchildren, Nevaeh Joyner, Jacob Moran; and his brother David (Andrea) Moran.
In addition to his parents, Jay was preceded in death by his infant daughter Melisa Dawn Moran; and his brother Lewis Moran.
In keeping with Jay’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. The family will observe a private gathering at a later date.
