Theo J. Fowler, age 67, of Mount Vernon passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at the Knox Community Hospital.
He was born on August 19, 1956, in Mobile, Alabama to the late William and Blanche (Freeman) Fowler. Theo enjoyed fishing, listening to music and playing his guitar. He was a veteran serving in the United States Army from 1974 – 1976.
He is survived by his daughters, Eva (Jeremy) Clendenen, Shirlena Jackson, Desiree (Clark) Blackwell, Chelsa (Jeff) Crabtree; his sons, Clint Fowler, Chris Fowler; his companion Carol Fullen; fifteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; his sisters Wanda Odem and Irene Carroll.
In addition to his parents, Theo was preceded in death by his granddaughter Autumn Jackson; his sister Audrey Hall; and his brother Butch Fowler.
In keeping with Theo’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. The family plans to have a celebration of life, gathering and service, at a day and time to be announced.
