Hugh M. Prettyman, 73, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at his residence.
He was born on April 7, 1950, in Lawton, Oklahoma to the late Arie J. and Jean P. (Kellison) Prettyman.
Hugh is survived by his two sons, Michael (Sherri) Prettyman of Plain City and Steve (Meighan) Prettyman of Mount Vernon; four grandchildren, Alexa, Evan, Brady, and Bryce Prettyman; a brother, Patrick Prettyman, and three sisters, Sheila, Sharla, and Lisa.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Harvey, and three sisters, Pam, Becky, and Sharon.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 – 11:00 AM in Mound View Cemetery.
The Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel is handling the arrangements for the family.
