MOUNT VERNON — In partnership with Arms of an Angel Foundation, The Woodward Opera House and The Knox Community Jazz Orchestra will be bringing you an amazing night of music on March 22.
This benefit concert will raise money for the Mount Vernon Police Department as it is purchasing a new K9 Officer. The evening will include the presence of K9 Officer Tuk and K9 Officer Nova, along with their handlers.
Officers from the MVPD will share stories throughout the event about the K9s and the work they are doing in the community.
We will hear from Chief Robert Morgan and Capt. Andrew Burns, as well as Dave Culbertson, whose family started the Arms of an Angel Foundation.
All proceeds from this event and donations collected that evening will go directly to the foundation to assist with this fundraiser.
