Keith J. Zolman, 81, of Mount Vernon passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024 at Knox Community Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on November 15, 1942 in Mount Vernon to the late Robert and Mary (Weaver) Zolman
Keith honorably served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Saint Paul Episcopal Church in Mount Vernon, Thrall Lodge #170 F. & A.M., the AmVets and the VFW. Keith owned and operated Zolman Car Wash in Mount Vernon. He was very involved with Pacemakers over the years. Keith was a car enthusiast but his greatest love in life was spending time with his family.
Keith is survived by daughters, Mary Zolman of Mount Vernon, and Michelle (JJ Kipp) Tanner of Mount Vernon; stepdaughters, Vickie Stokes of Newark, and Glendora (Anthony) Lord Meyer of Mount Vernon; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; step daughter-in-law, Della Murphy of Fredericktown; and a brother, Harlan (Loretta) Zolman of Mount Vernon.
In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Ann Zolman in 2010; stepdaughter, Sherry Renicker; stepson, Dennis Murphy; and step sons-in-law, Phillip Lord and Timothy Stokes
A graveside service will be held in Forest Cemetery on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 2 p.m. with Military Honors provided by the Knox County Joint Veterans Council. The family will have a memorial service celebrating Keith’s life at a later date.
