MOUNT VERNON – Mount Vernon Municipal Court Judge John Thatcher found 29 people guilty after hearings and court trials were conducted this week at the Mount Vernon Municipal Court.

These were the cases brought forward by Mount Vernon Law Director P. Robert Broeren Jr.’s Office.

Feb. 12

Anthony Campise, 47, of Howard, was found guilty of theft.

Brian Mainwaring, 47, of Coshocton, was found guilty of reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

Christi Ramirez, 64, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or a drug of abuse.

Zachariah Clark, 37, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of two counts of operating a motor vehicle while under suspension.

Eric Driscoll, 46, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of improper passing.

Cody Tone, 19, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of abandoning animals.

Assistant Law Director Steve Potts prosecuted the Campise case and First Assistant Law Director Brittany Whitney prosecuted the cases on behalf of the City of Mount Vernon, the State of Ohio, and the Villages of Centerburg, Danville, Fredericktown and Gambier.

Feb. 13

Brett Miller, 21, of Columbus, was found guilty of possession of marihuana and operating a motor vehicle with a prohibited open container.

Andrew Williams, 59, of Fredericktown, was found guilty of maintaining physical control of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or a drug of abuse.

Zachary Hill, 29, of Marengo, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or a drug of abuse.

Patrick Lloyd, 44, of Apple Creek, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while using a prohibited electronic wireless device.

Casey Obrien, 30, of Delaware, was found guilty of failure to maintain assured clear distance.

Brian Baldwin, 19, of Dublin, was found guilty of speeding.

Cheynea Andrews, 33, of Marion, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while under an FRA suspension.

Michael Niehoff, 63, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while under a suspension.

Johnny Odom, 68, of Newark, was found guilty of speeding.

Aaron Winfree, 32, of Morgantown, WV, was found guilty of speeding in a school zone.

Feb. 14

Xavier Mason, 24, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Nathan Terry, 40, of Mansfield, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while under an FRA suspension and speeding.

Assistant Law Director Steve Potts prosecuted these cases on behalf of the City of Mount
Vernon, the State of Ohio, and the Villages of Centerburg, Danville, Fredericktown and
Gambier.

Feb. 16

Donald Johnson, 40, of Howard, was found guilty of speeding.

Halle Moreland, 23, of Centerburg, was found guilty of selling tobacco products to an underage person.

Stephanie Moore, 39, of Centerburg, was found guilty of failing to confine a dog.

Hayden Crosswhite, 27, of Mansfield, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while under a 12-point suspension.

Daniel Selby, 20, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle with
fictitious plates.

Nicholas McDaniel, 26, of Ontario, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while under a suspension and fictitious plates.

Penny Heston, 54, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

Anthony Carmona, 22, of Butler, was found guilty of speeding.

Kenneth Bryant, 40, of Newark, was found guilty of speeding.

Jeremy Zieschang, 44, of Newark, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle with fictitious plates.

Abbie Hinger, 35, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle with expired plates.
