Jerry L. Holston, age 70, of Ankenytown passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024, at his home with his loving family at his side.
He was born on July 20, 1953, in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Earl and Myrtle (Thorton) Holston. Jerry was employed for over 30 years at General Motors in Mansfield from which he retired. He was a member of the Bellville Masonic Lodge #376. Jerry enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, painting and doing research of all kinds. But most of all, he loved the time he spent with his family and close friends.
Jerry is survived by his wife, of over 15 years, Melinda (Essick) Holston; his daughter Richele (Tyler) Brinker; his son Jerry Holston Jr; ten grandchildren, Zane, Chase, Gage, Alana, Dakota, Danica, Mia, Macen, Elizabeth, and Harper; his sister Sandy (Pat) Bowen; his niece Holly; and his nephews Mark, Caleb and Aric.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his daughter Tammy Holston and his brother Mark Holston.
Friends may call on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 5-6PM at the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown. A Masonic Service provided by the Bellville Masonic Lodge #376 will begin at 6pm.
