Peggy M. Cole, 89, of Centerburg formerly of Fredericktown passed away on Saturday morning, January 20, 2024 at Centerburg Pointe. She was born on June 28, 1934 in New Albany to the late Cecil and Roxie (Baker) Cheadle.
Peggy was a member of the Saint John Lutheran Church in North Woodbury. She had worked at a cabinet manufacturer, a Veterinary’s office and the family farm alongside her late husband, Harold. Peggy enjoyed collecting dolls of all types.
Peggy is survived by her children, Carol (Tony Parks) Cole of Spencer, Rebecca (Jeff) Lang of Fredericktown, Mike (Jodi) Cole of Fredericktown and Bill Cole of Mount Vernon; 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of almost 55 years, Harold Cole; great grandsons, Barrett Hagans, Caleb Howard and Bailey Howard; and several brothers and sisters.
The family will have a memorial service at 11a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Saint John Lutheran Church in North Woodbury.
