Bryanna Michelle DeMent, 26, of Honesdale, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on
Saturday, January 6, 2024.
She was born on December 13, 1997, in Camp Pendleton, California to Jason Michael and Lori Jo (Hill) DeMent.
She was Bryanna. She was Bry, Brybry, Brybutt, lil fin, Rexi, Brat, Bug and Aunt Bry.
She brightened a room when she walked into it. She was funny, nerdy, sometimes moody,
goofy and always, a beautiful soul. Bry touched so many lives, she was the empath everyone needed and lived an unselfish life that brought joy to so many.
From her statue of liberty phase, through multiple arm surgeries, the pancreatitis years and
then to coping with diabetes, her years of fighting demons and in recovery – she always
managed to smile and always made time to sing.
She was mommy and daddy’s little girl, always looking up to her big sissy, so many times a
warrior, a lover of life and a fighter. She was special because she made others feel special.
There is one less ray of sunshine in the world, but Heaven has gained an extraordinary angel.
Bryanna is survived by her parents, Jason and Lori Jo, a sister, Jordan DeMent of Pensacola,
Florida, grandparents, Dick and Pam Hill of Bladensburg, David Snyder of Bladensburg, Maggie Camstra of Pensacola, Florida, Kevin and Carol DeMent of Peebles, Ohio and her great grandmother Ginger Camstra of Mount Vernon, OH. Her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and so many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024, from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Snyder Funeral
Home – Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Road in Mount Vernon. Where a celebration of life service will follow at 3:00 PM. The family will observe private burial in Bladensburg Cemetery.
