MOUNT VERNON —Knox Community Hospital welcomed the first baby of the New Year on Tuesday.
KCH announced that Anna Jo was born at 10:27 a.m. on Jan. 2 weighing in at nine pounds and six ounces.
“It’s such a cool experience being able to usher in the New Year in such an exciting way,” said Anna Jo’s father.
“We couldn’t envision a better start to 2024.”
Knox Community Hospital is thrilled to start the New Year strong after having a record number of deliveries in 2023, with a total of 529 total babies — 276 boys and 253 girls.
