Paul Leroy Styers, age 83, of Fredericktown, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 31, 1940, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, to the late Paul and Eleanor (Bowden) Styers.
Paul joined the United States Navy and served for four years. Paul was a machinist for Copper-Bessemer and TRW, where he retired. He enjoyed hunting, especially Deer and Turkey hunting. Paul loved working on his 1968 Chevelle and was very proud of that car. Most of all he loved being around his family and grandkids.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Gayle Styers; daughter, Rachel Mackall; granddaughters, Jessica (Chris) Gatton, Kaitlyn Mackall; great-granddaughters, Evangeline and Esme Gatton; sisters, Sue (Larry) Deakins, Debra (Dick) Cline, Nancy (Bruce) Laird; sister-in-law, Lavada (Dean) Lenendecker; several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Paul is preceded in death by a sister, Patricia (Paul) Payne; and a sister-in-law, Bobbi Hughes.
A celebration of life service will take place at a later date.
