Patricia H. Brown, age 76, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at the Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon, Ohio. She was born on April 14, 1947, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, to the late Jack and Dorothy (Barker) Harmon.
Patty graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1965 and attended Ohio State University. She was an avid Ohio State fan and loved watching sporting events. Patty lived in Alaska, Ohio, and New York among other places and enjoyed going to the beach in Florida for vacations. Patty worked in the banking industry for several years before moving back to Mount Vernon to be closer to family. When Patty moved back to Mount Vernon, she worked at AMG Industries until she retired. She enjoyed traveling, quilting and bird watching, but most of all she loved being around family and friends.
She is survived by her brothers, Jack (Pam) Harmon, David (Jan) Harmon; sister, Terri (Art) Mitchell; nieces, Niki (Brad) Snyder, Jennifer Harmon, Holly (Stacy) Evans, Melissa Harmon, Amber (Andrew) Hill; nephews, Todd (Barb) Harmon, Chad Harmon, Mike Harmon and Phillip Hill; and several great-nieces, great-nephews and Godchildren she loved very much.
Along with her parents, Patty is preceded in death by her brother, Rick Harmon, and half sister, Dixie Corcoran Hill.
She will be missed dearly, and the world will not be the same without her in it.
