MOUNT VERNON — Applications for 2024 Senior Levy funding are now available.
Applications are being sent out earlier than previous years and are due Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024.
Any nonprofit entity that serves seniors can apply for an award. A Senior Levy Advisory Committee reviews the requests and makes recommendations to the commissioners.
The committee is offering technical advisory sessions held in the Knox County Board of Commissioners large conference room, 117. E. High St.
These sessions are not mandatory, but all applicants are strongly encouraged to attend.
Two sessions are offered (only need to attend one session):
Friday, Jan. 5, 2024, from 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Friday, Jan. 5, 2024, from 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
