DANVILLE — The postseason awards already are piling up for the Blue Devils.

Danville quarterback Walker Weckesser was selected the Knox Morrow Athletic Conference Player of the Year and Matt Blum was recognized as the Coach of the Year when the All-KMAC team was unveiled.

The unbeaten Blue Devils won the outright KMAC title this fall. Danville will play Springfield in the Division VII, Region 25 quarterfinals in Mount Vernon on Friday.

Danville’s Cole DeLaughder, Gavyn Lesley Wyatt Nissley, Caleb Lucas, Joshua Byers and Bryer Boeshart were All-KMAC first-team picks. They were joined by East Knox’s Bracen Davis, Alex Dolby, Bryar Householder, Blake Elliott and Jaxon Lester, Centerburg’s Mason Turske and Jesse Rings, Fredericktown’s Cameron Koelbl and Loudonville’s Matt Sprang and Baylor Weiser.

Other first-team selections were Northmor’s A.J. Bower, Jaxson Wenger, Bo Landin, Dylan Britt, Cameron Goldback, Hunter Fulk and Caleb Schnuerer, Cardington’s Wyatt Denney and Mount Gilead’s Shane Carpenter and Cam Vickers.

Second-team picks included: Carson Campbell (Northmor), Logan High (Mount Gilead), Cam Beachy (Loudonville), Cam Alloway (Centerburg), Nicholas Armrose (Northmor), Hayden Krinn (Mount Gilead), Kendall Carter (Danville), Tristin Hankinson (Centerburg), Kayden Gwilym (Cardington), Paul Cramer (Northmor), Shane Gardner (East Knox), Gabe Simpson (Mount Gilead), Chris Marshall (Centerburg), Will Jensen (East Knox), Wesley Payne (Danville), Aidan Neibert (Loudonville), Blake Sipes (Fredericktown), Trevin Harris (Centerburg), Grant Hartley (Fredericktown), Kalin Briggs (Cardington), Blake Colopy (Danville), Ashton Clark (Northmor), Dakota Ricketts (Danville), Lane Warner (Fredericktown), Cowin Becker (Northmor) and Aidan Burke (Danville).
