CENTERBURG — It was a clean sweep for the Trojans.
Centerburg’s Stella Weisbrod was selected the Knox Morrow Athletic Conference Player of the Year and Abigail Boudinot was the Coach of the Year when the All-KMAC volleyball team was announced.
Centerburg shared the KMAC title with Fredericktown.
Centerburg’s Kennedi Glenn and Julia Orndorf were selected to the first team, along with Fredericktown’s Jill Bouton and Julia Partington and Danville’s Mykenzie Neitzelt. Cardington’s Lily Clark and Madison Caulkins and Northmor’s Lizzie Erlsten rounded out the first team.
Second-teamers were Centerburg’s Katie Johnson and Riley Skillman, Fredericktown’s Ella Bouton, Cally Carpenter and Taylor Bryant, East Knox’s Sydney Opfer, Cardington’s Abby Ufferman and Northmor’s Maggie Brewer.
Centerburg’s Clara Johnson, Danville’s Hope Moore, East Knox’s Kiara Knepp and Fredericktown’s Bella Mullins were honorable-mention picks. They were joined by Cardington’s Rylee Donkin, Mount Gilead’s Olivia Long and Northmor’s Hannah James.
All-academic picks included Centerburg’s Clara Johnson, Danville’s Alayna Arnal, East Knox’s Hiba Ezzarouali, Fredericktown’s Bella Mullins, Cardington’s Genevieve Longsdorf, Mount Gilead’s Emma McDonald and Northmor’s Maggie Brewer.
