FREDERICKTOWN — Will Streby’s dream season keeps getting better.

A Fredericktown senior, Streby was selected the Knox Morrow Athletic Conference Player of the Year recently. The award capped a sensational year for Streby, who won a district championship and tied for 11th at last month’s Division II state tournament at NorthStar.

Northmor’s Mark Wiseman was chosen the KMAC Coach of the Year.

Centerburg won the KMAC team title this fall. Bennett Hill, Nick Meyers and Josh Hackett represented the Trojans on the KMAC first team. They were joined by East Knox’s Aidric Bocock, Fredericktown’s Cooper Lowe and Northmor’s Grant Bentley.

Centerburg’s Drew Meyers and Lance Martindale were second-team selections, along with Fredericktown’s Rob Streby and East Knox’s A.J. Baxter. Northmor’s Drew Hammond and Trevor Brubaker rounded out the second team.

Honorable-mention picks included East Knox’s Beau Keller, Fredericktown’s Braxton Horlacher, Northmor’s Caiden Martinez, Mount Gilead’s Briggs Leffler and Cardington’s Logan Reynolds and A.J. Hall.

The All-Academic picks were Centerburg’s Andrew Meyers, East Knox’s Aidric Bocock, Fredericktown’s Will Streby, Cardington’s Jason Bockbrader and Northmor’s Grant Bentley.

Girls Golf

Northmor’s Katelyn Miley was selected the Player of the Year, while Centerburg’s Kathy Compton was the Coach of the Year after leading the Trojans to the conference crown.

Centerburg’s Avery Glenn, Olivia Griffith and Evie Stowe were first-team picks. They were joined by Fredericktown’s Ava Parker and Northmor’s Brooklyn Kissling and Katie Dean.

Second-teamers were Centerburg’s Tesla Blankenship and Northmor’s Saje Miley, Katalina Roseberry and Ava Pernia. Fredericktown’s Ava Parker and Northmor’s Brooklyn Kissling were the All-Academic selections.
