MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Career Center (KCCC) will host its annual First Chance Application Night on Thursday, Nov. 16 at KCCC.
Sophomores and juniors, along with their families, will have an opportunity to visit KCCC’s career tech programs and meet with lab instructors.
Sophomores can visit any four of the two-year programs. Juniors will have the chance to visit the senior-only program, Pre-Professional Mentorship.
Students and families can visit the career tech programs during the following time slots: 4:30 to 4:50 p.m., 5 to 5:20 p.m., 5:40 to 6 p.m., and 6:10 to 6:30 p.m.
Students will also have the opportunity to apply in person in KCCC’s cafe from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Students who are unable to make it in person can apply online from 4:30 to midnight at www.knoxcc.org by clicking “Apply Now” in the upper right-hand corner of the website.
In addition, the On the Rise Bar-B-Que food truck will be at KCCC to offer food for purchase to students and their families from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
