MOUNT VERNON — A Knox County grand jury handed down 17 indictments during its latest session on Monday, Oct. 24.
The cases included:
Mark Preece, Fredericktown, engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, first-degree felony; aggravated trafficking in drugs, second-degree felony; forfeiture specification as to count two, a felony; trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, fourth-degree felony; forfeiture specification as to count three, a felony; possession of a fentanyl-related compound, third-degree felony
Eric Azbell, engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, first-degree felony; two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, both second-degree felonies; forfeiture specification to count two, three and four, all felonies; aggravated trafficking in drugs, third-degree felony
