MOUNT VERNON – Mount Vernon Municipal Court Judge John Thatcher found 31 people guilty after hearings and court trials were conducted this week at the Mount Vernon Municipal Court.

These were the cases brought forward by Mount Vernon Law Director P. Robert Broeren, Jr.’s Office.

Oct. 9

Larry Wolford, 65, of Howard, was found guilty of gambling and operating a gambling house.

Howard Hilton, LLC, of Howard, was found guilty of gambling and operating a gambling house.

Edward Fletcher, 65, of Fredericktown, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or a drug of abuse and use of weapons while intoxicated.

Xavier Mason, 24, of Mansfield, was found guilty of domestic violence.

Macintosh Henwood, 21, of Fredericktown, was found guilty of physical control of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or a drug of abuse.

Andrea Origel, 21, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

Tammy Hodge, 62, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drug of abuse.

Law Director Rob Broeren prosecuted the Wolford and Howard Hilton LLC cases.

First Assistant Law Director Brittany Whitney prosecuted all the other cases on behalf of
the City of Mount Vernon, the State of Ohio, and the Villages of Centerburg, Danville,
Fredericktown and Gambier
.

Oct. 10

Savannah Keyes, 24, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of obstructing official business and driving under a FRA suspension.

Marshall Duda, 44, of Fredericktown, was found guilty of domestic violence.

Dan Haynes, 36, of Columbus, was found guilty of domestic violence.

Brenden Moore, 42, of Fredericktown, was found guilty of criminal trespassing.

Douglas Milhoan, 37, of Mount Gilead, was found guilty of obstructing official business and driving under a FRA suspension.

Amber Stockdale, 36, of Mount Gilead, was found guilty of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Travis Bowman, 20, of Perrysville, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drug of abuse.

Alejandro Escamilla, 23, of Powell, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drug of abuse and failure to use headlights.

Malakai Dabel, 22, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of driving under a FRA suspension.

Edwin Robinson, 33, of Dayton, was found guilty of driving under suspension and expired plates.

Paris Pitts, 23, of Newark, was found guilty of driving under suspension.

Zephaniah Cody, 22, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of speeding.

Whitney Carrico, 37, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of speeding.

Jacie Barnett Robinson, 50, of Cardington, was found guilty of speeding.

First Assistant Law Director Brittany Whitney prosecuted the Duda and Haynes cases and Assistant Law Director Steve Potts prosecuted all other cases on behalf of the City of Mount Vernon, the State of Ohio, and the Villages of Centerburg, Danville, Fredericktown and Gambier.

Oct. 11

John Lowe, III, 43, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of having an open container in a prohibited area.

Stephanie Samuels, 46, of Centerburg, was found guilty of selling alcohol to an underage person.

Derek Enman, 36, of Columbus, was found guilty of speeding.

Oct. 13

Asa Anthony, 38, of Fredericktown, was found guilty of obstructing official business, passing bad checks, and petty theft.

Scott Greene, 59, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of disorderly conduct.

Anthony Iacono, 44, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of depositing litter on public property.

Braydon Evans, 19, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of failure to use reasonable control.

Kenneth Finnell, 40, of Danville, was found guilty of speeding.

Caleb Smith, 18, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of driving under suspension.

Jesse Ray, 31, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of driving under suspension.
