BLADENSBURG — The refurbished old Bladensburg Elementary School is now the home of the Bladensburg Community Center, where we will again be offering an Art & Craft Show on Saturday, Oct. 21, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“We will be joined by all sorts of wonderful local artisans who have created wheel-thrown pottery, quilts and quilt fabrics, quilting supplies, cross stitch, laser engraved items, jewelry, ceramics, local honey, lovely wreaths, knitted and crocheted treasures, and much much more,” said Kim Davidson, President of the Bladensburg Community Heritage Foundation, which operates the Bladensburg Community Center.
This a great opportunity to support local artists and crafters, and fill your home or complete your gift list with hand-made items.
“We are thrilled to be hosting our sixth annual Art & Craft Show in Bladensburg this year,” Davidson said. “There will be a variety of artisans and crafters available, and we should have something that will interest just about everyone.
“We will also have delicious food available for lunch, on a donation basis, through the local service group, the East Knox Lions Club, and there will be FREE door prizes.”
The gym will be open, and there will be a large screen TV available airing the Ohio State football game.
Shoppers can bring their kids and husbands, and shop to their heart’s content. Admission is FREE and there is plenty of FREE parking as well.
