Connie J. Ackerman, 71, of Fredericktown passed away on October 1, 2023 at her sister’s home in Mount Vernon. She was born on December 16, 1951 to Clint and Une Mae (Johnson) Hess in Honaker, VA.
Connie was baptized in Blackford, VA in the James River. She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. Her favorite was spending time with her grandchildren.
Connie is survived by her children Shawnee (Tim) Hagans of Howard, OH, Angela Chadwick of Mount Vernon, Darrel Liming of Mount Vernon, OH, OH; Lacy Ackerman of Elyria, OH; grandchildren Michael, Melissa and Nick; great-grandchildren Luke Aaron and Amina; 4 brothers and 2 sisters; a special thanks to Aunt Patsy Muncie who cared for Connie; and many nieces and nephews and extended family.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, and 1 sister.
The family will be observing private family services and a private burial in Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown, OH.
