Donna L. Penley, age 71, of Frazeysburg, Ohio passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023, at the Knox Community Hospital.
She was born on October 14, 1951, in Mount Vernon, Ohio to the late Arthur and Shirley (Shoults) Rine. Donna enjoyed reading and her canine companion Jackson. But most of all, Donna loved the time she spent with her loving family and close friends.
She is survived by her husband, of over 54 years, Stanley Penley; her daughters, Stephanie (Carl) Olms, Misty Penley; her grandchildren, Chelsea Olms, Briana Olms, Jayden Olms, Desmond Thompson, Delaney Thompson, Abigail House; her brother Junior (Shelly) Pelton; her sisters, Kathy (Kenny) Berg, Sally Rine; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her brother Jack Rine; her sister-in-law Debbie Rine; and her sister Beatrice Rine.
In keeping with Donna’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. The family will observe a private graveside service at Mount Zion Cemetery in Bladensburg at a later date.
