New Philadelphia led throughout and cruised to a 35-10 Ohio Cardinal Conference victory over visiting Mount Vernon on Friday night.
The Quakers opened an 8-3 first-quarter lead, took a 22-3 bulge into halftime, and owned and then outscored Mount Vernon 13-7 in the fourth quarter.
The Yellow Jackets dropped to 1-5 overall, 0-3 in the OCC. Mount Vernon travels to Wooster next week.
New Philadelphia is now 4-2, 2-1 and will play at Madison on Friday night.
