MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.
Sept. 11
— A deputy was dispatched to a disturbance on Coshocton Rd. Dispatch advised that a subject walked up and was disrupting a funeral. Dispatch advised the subject left on foot walking eastbound on Coshocton Road. The deputy responded and made contact with the involved party.
Sept. 12
— Deputies with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to 29 Cleveland Avenue, Mount Vernon, Ohio on a reported house fire. The fire department arrived on scene and extinguished the fire. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Mount Vernon Police Department. No one was home at the time of the fire. Deputies completed a report for documentation purposes.
— The complainant advised that he received a phone call from a subject who advised that the complainant had won a large sum of money and requested the complainant to send $1,000 in “registration fees” before he could get his money. The complainant recognized it as a scam and did not send the money.
Sept. 13
— The complainant contacted 911 to report a possible overdose. A female was taken my the Central Ohio Joint Fire District to KCH for treatment. A pink slip was issued and a report was generated for documentation.
