FREDERICKTOWN — Cooler temperatures greeted the 88 runners who toed the line at the Fredericktown Tomato Show 5K and 5-mile run on Saturday.

Fredericktown’s Matt Stefanik and Sadie Sanders of Mount Vernon were the overall male and female winners in the 5K.

Stefanik ran an 18:14.98, while Sanders turned in a 22:39.97 to top the field of 69 runners.

On the 5-mile side, Nicholas Snell, Fredericktown, won the men’s division with a time of 34:33.21.

Jilliann Baker, Mount Vernon, ran a 43:13.04 to win the female division.

Nineteen runners ran the 5-mile run.
