MOUNT VERNON – Mount Vernon Municipal Court Judge John Thatcher found 31 people guilty after hearings and court trials were conducted this week at the Mount Vernon Municipal Court.
These were the cases brought forward by the Mount Vernon Law Director Rob Broeren’s Office.
Sept. 5
Christopher Starmer, 27, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a valid license.
Joseph Spearman, 41, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Daniel Storts, 43, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of aggravated menacing.
James Stone, 36, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of two counts of aggravated menacing and one count of domestic violence.
Joseph Fulton, 39, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of criminal trespass.
Treyton Wallace, 25, of Columbus, was found guilty of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and open container in a motor vehicle.
Dakota Marvin, 20, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of speeding.
Florina Robinson, 45, of Granville, was found guilty of speeding.
Daniel Goudy, 34, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of disorderly conduct and riding a bicycle on the left of the roadway.
Kennedy Horner, 28, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of speeding in a school zone.
Sally Deraleau, 60, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of expired license plate.
First Assistant Law Director Brittany Whitney prosecuted the Stone and Storts cases on behalf of the City of Mount Vernon and the State of Ohio.
Assistant Law Director Steve Potts prosecuted all other cases on behalf of the City of Mount Vernon, the State of Ohio, and the Villages of Centerburg, Danville, Fredericktown and Gambier.
Sept. 6
Carter Gallagher, 23 of Fredericktown, was found guilty of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Melvin Yeatman III, 30 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Failing to Use Reasonable Control.
Ronald Hoeflich Jr., 44 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under Suspension.
Assistant Law Director Steve Potts prosecuted these cases on behalf of the City of Mount
Vernon, Village of Fredericktown, and the State of Ohio.

Joshua Hamilton, 40, of Newark, was found guilty of possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under an FRA suspension.
Matthew Woody, 33, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of possession of drug abuse instruments.
Devin Weber, 23, of Howard, was found guilty of possession of marihuana.
Harmony Wolfe, 23, of Marengo, was found guilty of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
Joshua Dewitt, 30, of Columbus, was found guilty of driving under suspension and driving left of center.
Hayden Harmer, 20, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of speeding.
Angel Simmons, 18, of Saint Louisville, was found guilty of speeding and not wearing a seatbelt.
Brenden Moore, 42, of Fredericktown, was found guilty of driving under an FRA suspension and failure to stop at a stop sign.
Matthew Moran, 20, of Butler, was found guilty of driving without a valid operator’s license.
Armando Rodriguez, 62, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of driving without a valid operator’s license and speeding.
John Ball, 23, of Danville, was found guilty of driving under suspension.
Timothy Llewellyn, 28, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of driving under a 12-point suspension.
Taylor Latham, 28, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of speeding in a school zone.
Kevin Trejo Vazquez, 23, of North Charleston, South Carolina, was found guilty of driving without a valid license and failing to stop at a red light.
Wyatt Hoar, 20 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of having fictitious plates on a vehicle and having an expired registration.
Patricia Hoadley, 71, of Howard, was found guilty of failure to control.
Trevor Overly, 25, of Howard, was found guilty of speeding.
