MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.

Sept. 2

— On the above date and time while on routine patrol, A deputy located a suspicious vehicle at the Kokosing Lake spillway. After making contact with the driver, it was found that the driver had an outstanding warrant out of the Richland County Sheriff’s Office. The driver was arrested without incident and relayed with the Richland County Sheriff’s Office without incident.

— Medics, a deputy and Mount Vernon Police Officers responded to an overdose on LayBelle Dr. in Mount Vernon. An individual took an excessive amount of medication in an attempt to commit suicide. They were transported to the Knox Community Hospital for treatment.

Sept. 3

— Deputies were dispatched to Miller Street in Centerburg on a disturbance. Complainant stated that the two males are residents there and are fighting. Deputies arrived on scene and collected statements. A male was transported to Knox community hospital for a small cut on his head. Nothing Further at this time.

— Deputies responded to a disturbance occurring on Baird Road. A juvenile was having a mental crisis and was later transported to Licking Memorial Hospital by a parent.

Sept. 4

— A deputy located an intoxicated male walking on Coshocton Road. The individual was attempting to walk into Mount Vernon. He agreed to be transported to the Sheriff’s Office to wait on his ride coming from Delaware County.

— A deputy was dispatched to West Lakeview Drive for a lost/found property complaint. Dispatch advised that the complainant had located a vehicle bumper in a wood line while mowing. A deputy responded and made contact with the complainant.

— Deputies were dispatched to Old Mansfield Road on a disturbance. Complainant stated that her grandmother’s brother had assaulted her. Deputies arrived on scene and spoke with the involved parties. A report was taken to document the incident. Nothing Further at this time.

— Deputies were dispatched to a possible domestic violence incident at a residence on Biggs Road in Howard. Deputies arrived on scene and made contact with the involved parties. The parties were separated for the evening and a report was generated to be sent to the City Law Director’s Office for review.
