G. Daniel Dudgeon, age 82, of Gambier, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023, at Knox Community Hospital.
He was born on February 23, 1941, in Mount Vernon and was the son of the late George T. and Burdetta F. (Fawcett) Dudgeon.
Dan is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Shirley (Dugan) Dudgeon, Daughter, Stephanie L. Dudgeon of Columbus, a granddaughter, Eleanor C. Broeren, a grandson, Zachary D. Broeren, along with his feline companion, Daisy Mae.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sonya Dudgeon Broeren in 2021, three brothers and a sister.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023, from 4:00 – 5:00 PM at Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Rd. in Mount Vernon. Where a memorial service will follow at 5:00PM. Private burial will be in Bladensburg Cemetery.
