MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.

— An individual called the Sheriff’s Office wanting to file a theft report for someone not returning his ladder. After contacts with both parties, the matter was determined to be a civil issue.

— A complainant called into The Knox County Sheriffs Office to report a protection order violation. A report was taken for documentation.
