MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.
Aug. 24
— Deputies had a consensual encounter with an individual that appeared to under the influence of alcohol in the 70 block of E Main St. Deputies conducted an investigation on the incident, and Deputies discovered the individual had an outstanding warrant out of Columbus, Ohio for their arrest. The individual was arrested without incident and transported to the Knox County Jail.
— A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle on W. Chestnut St. for an equipment violation. After the vehicle stopped, the passenger of the vehicle jumped out of the vehicle and attempted to flee the deputy. Eventually the individual was caught and placed under arrest. The male was identified as Stephen Deshong who had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for receiving stolen property.
Aug. 25
— The complainant contacted the Sheriffs Office in reference to a missing Oxygen tank. A report was taken for documentation.
— The Knox County Sheriff’s Office was contacted in reference to a domestic incident in Centerburg. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail.
