MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.

Aug. 21

— Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Killduff Rd. in Gambier Ohio on a domestic violence incident. Deputies arrived on scene and made contact with both parties. Both parties were separated for the evening and the report will be forwarded to the City Law Director’s Office for review of for possible charges.

— A complainant lost their cell phones in the Mohican River earlier in the afternoon. Later in the evening the complainant’s cell phone was GPS located at an address on Old Mansfield Road. A Deputy went to residence and collected the cell phones. The person who found the phones was intending on returning the phones to the own the next day. The phones were placed into evidence for safe keeping.

— A deputy was dispatched to Adult Probation on East High St for a warrant. The deputy responded and made contact with the involved parties.

— The Knox County Sheriff’s Office was contacted in reference to a reckless driver. The complainant followed the driver to their destination and reported it to dispatch. A Deputy arrived on scene and determined that the driver was suffering from mental and physical ailments. A report was taken to be sent to the BMV for a drivers license retest.

Aug. 22

— Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Old Mansfield Road on a possible disturbance. Complainant called in stating that a verbal argument between him and his live-in boyfriend had occurred and needed deputies to respond. Both individuals were warned on their conduct and a report was written for documentation.
