MOUNT VERNON – Judge John Thatcher found 21 defendants guilty after hearings and court trials and hearings were conducted this week in the Mount Vernon Municipal Court.

The following cases were brought forward by the Mount Vernon Law Director’s Office.

Aug. 14

Robert Wirick, 33, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of disorderly conduct.

Cary White, 37, of Centerburg, was found guilty of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or a drug of abuse.

First Assistant Law Director Brittany Whitney prosecuted these cases on behalf of the
State of Ohio.

Aug. 15

Michael Burson, 32, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of domestic violence.

Elijah Adam, 25, of Fredericktown, was found guilty of failure to comply with a police order and speeding.

Ronn Burnette, 31, of Columbus, was found guilty of aggravated menacing.

Jonathan Dipadua, 32, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of theft by deception.

Donald Morris, 32, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of criminal damaging/endangering and persisting disorderly conduct.

Dylan Fathbruckner, 21, of Delaware, was found guilty of operating a vehicle under the influence of a drug of abuse and speeding.

Amber Novatney, 44, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Randolph McGregor, 40, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of obstructing official business.

Jenifer Felt, 44, of Monroe, was found guilty of driving under a FRA suspension.

Kricket Willey, 30, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of driving under a FRA suspension.

First Assistant Law Director Brittany Whitney prosecuted the Burson cases on behalf of the City of Mount Vernon.

Assistant Law Director Steve Potts prosecuted the Willey and Felt cases on behalf of the City of Mount Vernon.

Law Director Robert Broeren prosecuted all other cases on behalf of the City of Mount Vernon, the State of Ohio, and the Villages of Centerburg, Danville, Fredericktown and Gambier.

Aug. 16

Michael Allen, 68, of Wilmington, was found guilty of failure to reinstate license and failure to file the application for registration, or to pay the tax, for a motor vehicle.

John Bennett, 25, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of speeding and failure to wear a seatbelt in a motor vehicle.

Kelly Keelin, 36, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of driving under a FRA suspension.

Aaron Riley, 63, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of driving under a FRA suspension. Assistant Law Director Steve Potts prosecuted these cases on behalf of the State of Ohio, Village of Danville, and City of Mount Vernon.

Aug. 18

Brady Boyce, 52, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of petty theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Benjerman Airhart, 27, of Galena, was found guilty of theft.

Nathan Terry, 40, of Mansfield, was found guilty of failure to reinstate license.

Logan Hart, 21, of Howard, was found guilty of driving under suspension.

Erryanna Mason, 20, of Medina, was found guilty of driving under suspension.

Assistant Law Director Steve Potts prosecuted these cases on behalf of the City of Mount Vernon, the State of Ohio, and the Villages of Centerburg, Danville, Fredericktown and Gambier.
