MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.
Aug. 12
— A complainant called to report that he was involved in a single vehicle crash. A deputy responded and a report was completed for documentation.
— Officer responded to an address on Huffman on a dispute between family members. One individual was found to have an outstanding warrant from Juvenile Court.
Aug. 13
— A report of an accident was reported on Possum Rd. near Fosdyke Rd. EMS and deputies responded to the scene. The juvenile driver was traveling at a high rate of speed when the roadway turned from pavement to gravel then lost control of her vehicle. The truck went off the roadway then into a cornfield causing damage to the crops. The juvenile driver was issued a citation for reckless operation and failure to control. No injuries were reported.
