MOUNT VERNON — The Praisestock Christian Music Festival will take place on Sunday, Aug 20 at the Schnormeier Event Center at Aerial Foundation Park.

Praisestock begins at 10 a.m. with a Community Worship Service. A love offering will be taken during the service and donations accepted throughout the day will be donated to Food For The Hungry for its 2023 food drive.

From noon to 6 p.m., bands and worship teams will continue the worship event. This family-friendly event will include children’s activities, offer food from local vendors, and feature more activities and opportunities to learn about Praisestock, sponsoring churches, Food For The Hungry, and other programs receiving funding.

Summer Grant Reports are due Sept 9. Organizations or ministries that received a Food For The Hungry Summer Grant need to submit a grant report by Sept 9.

Grant Reports are important for the work of Food For The Hungry so that we can share the incredible progress in the fight against hunger that is being done through organizations around Knox County.

The report form can be found at FoodForTheHungryCares.org

Food For The Hungry event information is needed by Sept 15. If you are planning on hosting an event for the Food For The Hungry 2023 Winter Drive Season, FFTH wants to give you its appreciation but it also has a small request.

Please submit general event information (like the date and contact person) by Sept. 15.

Without this information, FFTH cannot guarantee promotion for your event. The Food For The Hungry Event Form can be found at FoodForTheHungryCares.org
