I read Knox pages regularly and I’m having trouble understanding why it’s not illegal to publicize people’s phone #’s, driver’s license #s, birth dates and address, seems it would be easy to take this info and use it fraudulently. This info is in the mount Vernon police’s crash reports… for everyone to see-if I was unlucky enough to have a fender-bender in the city, I would be MORE upset my personal info was being publicly displayed….I do not think I’d have any trouble finding a majority of folks agreeing with my concern.
Having to download reports to read Police and Sheriff reports is not a professional way to pass information on to the reader. I don’t need to read an actual crash report. It is cumbersome not to mention a lazy way to pass on information. Just list a police activity report of all incidents in the area so citizens can know and be aware of when, where, and what is happening!
