MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County Junior Fair exhibitors walked away with a nice chunk of change at this year’s county fair.
Approximately $979,056 was collected at the Knox County Fair’s sale day for Junior Fair exhibitors, according to preliminary sales data. Approximately $1,064,149 was sold at last year’s sale.

- Market Goat $166,975; 96 entires sold
- Broilers $157,650; 136 entires sold
- Turkeys $31,820; 22 entries sold
- Market Rabbits $129,665; 118 entires sold
- Market Lamb $54,500; 42 entires sold
- Pen of 3 Market Lamb $9,500; two entries sold
