MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.
JULY 24
— A deputy made contact with a male and female on Wooster Rd. The female appeared to be in distress and intoxicated. Additional deputies arrived on scene and conducted an initial investigation. A follow-up investigation will be completed. A report was generated for documentation purposes at this time.
— The Red Rover gas station employee called and reported a found debit card at their store. The card was collected by deputies and placed into evidence for safekeeping at the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.
— Deputies with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio State Highway Patrol were dispatched to an injury crash on Bypass Road. A male passenger was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Knox County.
— Victim came to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report a domestic violence that happened earlier in the day. Statements were taken and injuries documented. Suspect was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.
