MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.
JULY 19
— Deputies responded to the incident location on a report of an active Domestic Violence incident. Upon arrival and after speaking with all parties and gathering evidence, a male was arrested for Domestic Violence and Assault. The male was transported to the Knox County Jail without incident and held without bond pending a court hearing.
JULY 18
— Caller reported the stepmother to her children took 4-H animals to another location. The 4-H animals belonged to the caller’s children and were needed for the fair. An agreement was made for the stepmother to return the animals. At the time of this report, the animals have not been returned.
— Caller reported male subject is terminal and out of his mind. Male subject walked into a stranger’s home and helped himself to food and drinks. Male was pink slipped and transported to KCH.
— A complainant on Van Winkle Rd. called in to speak with a deputy concerning a fraud incident. The deputy spoke with the individual and a report was generated for documentation.
— Knox County Deputies responded to a female in Centerburg that was wanting to harm herself. After Deputies spoke with the female she voluntarily chose to be transported to KCH by ambulance. An incident report was filed.
— Deputies were dispatched to an inactive domestic violence incident. The complainant advised the female suspect left in a vehicle. Deputies responded to the incident location to conduct the investigation. Mount Vernon Police Officers conducted a traffic stop on the suspect’s vehicle and placed the suspect under arrest for domestic
violence.
