Kathleen R. Weaver, 76, of Mount Vernon passed away on July 9, 2023, at Knox Community Hospital. She was born on July 11, 1946, to Arthur and Lucy Brownfield in Columbus, OH.
Kathy was a longtime member of Lakeholm Church of the Nazarene. Kathy served on the Advisory Board of Starting Point here in Mount Vernon. She enjoyed playing games, swimming, camping and spending time outdoors.
Kathy is survived by her children Debra (Bernard) Gyamfi of Lowell, MI and Linda (Richard) Comiskey of Lowell, MI; 3 grandchildren and many extended family members.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and 5 siblings.
There will be private graveside service at Kokosing Nature Preserve in Gambier, OH. A celebration of life will take place at Lakeholm Church of the Nazarene on July 29, 2023 at 3:00pm. Calling hours will be from 1:00 – 3:00pm.
