MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.
JULY 8
— Deputies were dispatched to the 28000 block of Coshocton Road in reference to an injured deer in the roadway. Deputies euthanized said deer and a report was taken for documentation purposes.
— Deputies were dispatched to Columbus Rd. to investigate a complaint of a female who had made comments about self harm. Deputies responded to the residence and a report was made. Nothing further at this time.
— Knox County Deputies responded to Rescare in Centerburg on two incidents. The residents were separated and a report was filed.
— Deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of Glenmonte Drive in Howard in reference to a domestic incident. Upon arrival, Deputies conducted an investigation and identified a juvenile suspect and female victim. Deputies placed the juvenile under arrest and transported the juvenile to the Juvenile Detention Center located in Muskingum County. A report was taken for documentation purposes and charges are pending on the incident.
— A deputy was dispatched to an active burglary on McKenzie Road. Dispatch advised that the owner returned home and found a window broken out on the rear of the house. Units responded and cleared the residence.
— A deputy was dispatched to a residence on Martinsburg Road in Utica. The caller said that their child had been missing since the previous evening and the last person to see the child was a neighbor at approximately 8:30 p.m. After several hours the child was located at a family members residence.
JULY 10
— While on routine patrol, a deputy encountered an individual lying along Columbus Road, in the roadway and initially, unresponsive. Medics were called and the person was transported to Knox Community Hospital for treatment. It was determined that the the person was determined to be missing from a treatment facility in the county. A report was taken an and investigation ongoing.
— Dispatch received a 911 hang up. Upon call back, a male answered the phone and said he was in a motorcycle accident in June and appeared to be out of breath. Upon arrival of law enforcement, the male was arrested for Domestic Violence and transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.
