MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.
JULY 1
— The complainant reported that while she was traveling southbound on Harcourt Road, the defendant failed to stop at the intersection of Johnson Avenue, and struck the trailer her vehicle was towing. The defendant was cited.
JULY 2
— A deputy was dispatched to the location of the Harcourt Road Motel on the report of a disturbance. Deputy Miller, Deputy Cline and Deputy Burgess arrived and made contact with the complainant.
— Deputies responded to a residence on Eckard Rd for a female threatening suicide. The female left the residence on foot and Deputies searched the area. A report was completed for documentation and the female was entered as a missing/endangered person.
— A deputy was dispatched to investigate a complaint of an aggressive dog. Complainant stated while delivering a package he was met by a large dog that tried attacking him. Complainant wanted to report the incident for documentation purposes. Nothing further at this time.
— A complainant advised someone attempted to steal his travel trailer that was parked at Apple Valley Storage on Grant Road. The trailer was moved from where it was parked but dropped before being taken. Damage to the stabilizer jacks and tongue jack occurred. The incident is currently under investigation.
JULY 3
— A deputy was dispatched to a non-injury crash on Wooster Road. Dispatch advised that the complainant struck a deer and wants a report filed.
